But in the cruel manner in which life unfolds it is 95% Windows enviornment. Blah. My interview was funny. I was like," in OS X you do this and this, but in XP I think you go here and look for something that says something like this....." But it is a school job and that has it's advantages. I plan to keep My XP troubleshooting for Dummies book with me at all times.

Nice, I just fixed my family's network... AGAIN... I swear it's insane... my sister being the all knowing PC user she is feels a need to... entirely destroy the network... sigh...

A perfectly correct PC network will look broken to the Mac power user, and viceversa.

Or do you mean your sister actually took an axe and rammed the router with it?

aaahhhhhahahhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Why would anyone want to subject themselves to this stuff?
I now thoroughly despise the right click in windows. Ugh.

Allright, I'm better. Jobs going well.

I worked at my uni's tech help desk for ahile . they had a G4 tower and an imac DV just collecting dust. i got there.....got OSX up and running, got acounts set up, apps installed, etc. 6 months later, out of the 8 of us students in there (7 to support windows and 1 to support macs( even tough there was a 1 : 1 raio of Macs : PCs on campus).....4 are mac users now, and one is the Apple rep of the Uni. ...my work there was done.

It'll be fun....make the most of it. try and get an Apple certification as well if you want one. wouldnt hurt. im thinking of getting one myself.
