I'm thinking about starting an RSS enclosure feed simply featuring clips of new songs I enjoy, but I'm wondering if there are any leagal issues standing in my way. Do I have the rights to cut clips of songs and hand them out solely for the purpose of artist promotion? It can be nothing but good for the artist, and (what I'm more worried about) the label.. as it's a list of songs I *enjoy* and none that I dislike. Any suggestions?

30 seconds is the legal limit i believe. same with movie clips. that is why most online retailers (e.g. best buy, amazon) use 30 second clips.
