And I thought Steve Ballmer was crazy before. Check out the quotes from this testimony.
After learning Lucovsky was leaving to take a job at Google, Ballmer picked up his chair and hurled it across his office, according to the declaration.
Ballmer then pejoratively berated Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Lucovsky recalled.
"I'm going to f---ing bury that guy, I have done it before, and I will do it again," the declaration quotes Ballmer. "I'm going to f---ing kill Google."

Hah, funny stuff. Pretty cool, too. We have front row seats to what may ultimately be one of the greatest corporate battles, gentlemen. It could potentially be bigger than Apple vs. IBM/MSFT. Looking forward to GOOG vs. MSFT

I'd like to see MSFT bury Google, or at least smother them for a while, they're getting a bit arrogant for my tastes(not that MSFT is not).

Why are CEOs, celebrities, pro athletes, etc always throwing chairs and tables? Harvey Weinstein of Miramax throws chairs, an executive at Fox flips tables. This kind of behaviour wouldn't be tolerated in a lot of workplaces, but if you're the top dog, you can act like a complete phucknut and get away with it.
Bunch of phucking infants.

Just seeing that bald, obese, out of shape, poor excuse for a company head spew his childish, immature glop with such lack of class, control and professionalism, while the idiotic public actually claps him on repulses me. As much as I disagree with Jobs' attitude off stage, at least he has style, class and is (or at least does a good job at appearing) down to Earth in public. Ugh.

I agree with Gabriel. (especially about Job's and style)
I was in a meeting with Balmer a few years ago. He asked everyone: "What do you think about syncing the recent documents folder with the "back" button on the browser?" Input was given that it would essentially make the recent documents folder useless.

Assuming Lucovsky's testimony is true, I think Ballmer's attitude in that particular instance was awesome.

I'd actually care if Google's search results weren't so damn horrible. FOr the last year or so, the majority of my search results on Google result in FrontPage-type sites whose onlt relevance is that they have a google ad bar.

I prefer the devil I know to the devil I don't know.
At least Microsoft supports the Mac platform. MS Office, Messenger, and WiMP are actually useful apps for OS X.
Google does nothing to support OS X. In the early days of Gmail you couldn't even login with Safari. As far as Google is concerned, OS X doesn't exist.

I disagree. Gmail works great with Safari and Mail, a lot of Google's software isn't useful on the Mac, Picssa is redundant with iPhoto, it'd be nice to have it on the platform but I wouldn't be surprised if Apple asked em not to put it out. Google earth... dont' really care. Google Talk, iChat works with it, only feature we don't have is the voice chat which I wouldn't be surprised if Apple announces a deal with Google supporting voice chat through iChat.

I would LOVE to see Google Earth on the Mac.
I also wouldn't mind seeing rich text editing on the Mac with Safari. ( Right now you need Firefox for that feature. )

Really what would be nice would be to see Apple partner with Google on a few things. It doesn't make sense in my mind for them not to. Steve always seems to be a big google fan...
