I bought a basic watch off amazon.com for $22.22 with shipping. Looks to be a great watch. I like the green tinge background and the white edges. Looks kind of classy. I also like the large screen so it is easy to read. It replaces my lost Casio dual powered watch which replaced my Casio Databank watch. Thoughts and comments are welcomed. Also, show pictures of your own watch (I know we had this before, but it has been some time).

I would like to see a picture of your arm attached to the watch.. It would justify it being yours.. slightly.

Mindwaves: Personally I don't like digital watches, but I imagine if I would, I'd like yours...

I bought mine, a Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium approx. five years ago. It cost me 275,- €, and one hundred more when I had to replace the glass after a car crash. I also threw it out of a window once when I had quite a nasty argument with my ex girlfriend. The wristband was broken and she took it and had it repaired.

Although you can see that the watch had some impacts to take, I am still happy and fully satisfied with it!

I've just ordered a new watch aswell: N.B. Yäeger Delta.
I wanted something that is strong, doesn't need batteries and has a nice and clean/functional design.

Me likey. <insert drool smiley here.>

Funy thing is that if you buy it online from the English shop it is $300 cheaper than the US shop. But at $645 it is still too expensive for the way I (ab)use watches. I can usually get 2 years out of the cheap Timex watches I buy before I damage them beyond repair. Maybe when I "grow up" some day I'll get a nice watch like this. It is beautiful.

I'm looking for a watch that is waterproof (for swimming), has date as well as time and doesn't need a battery. But I can't afford N.B. Yäeger prices (nice watch though). Any tips?

Nice but I'd prefer the Monaco or Carrera!

My everyday watch is a Fortis Pilot Chronograph and sometimes I also wear a 1962 Omega Seamaster.

Got this Tag Heuer 6000 series watch from my little brother 6 years ago (I think) and I still love it! I could have never afford to buy it for myself, but as a "hand me down" gift. WooHoo!

Love that band... I wanted to replace mine with something similar... then found out it was like $350.

I still have my original band....

1971 Rolex Sea-Dweller

I have a fixation with owning things made on my birth year. Helluva watch too, built like a tank and looks great. Bought it for pennies on the dollar at an estate auction and had it completely restored, including a new crystal.

I have Tag SEL, it's been the most unreliable POS ever.

I bought a Citizen SkyHawk last year and it's light years better than my Tag.

Congratulations on the new watch mindwaves.

Nice watches everyone above also.

I'm currently not even wearing a watch.

I've had this Citizen now for about 5 years... It's a diving watch with a depth gage (that big sensor on the left side) It's also got a solar cell (the entire black face of the watch is the cell) which powers the watch.

I bought this Mont Blanc Star about a month ago... I needed something more formal.

I bought this Casio Data Bank at least 10 years ago. I wear it when people question my geekiness

Tried to find a pic of one of the watches I have. It's a limited edition watch of Death from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. I don't wear it anymore, but it's cool to see.

Problem: Trying to find a picture of the "Death watch" on images.google.com is NOT recommended. About 4 milliseconds after I pressed "Enter" I realized what I was going to see, and I was right. Don't do it. I'll snap a picture of the watch when I have time.

I also have an Apple watch. I don't spend money on timepieces since I always seem to know what time it is without one. Strange.

Mike
