I use mechanical. Its much easier, and less work. Unsharpened pencils inspire laziness in me.

i actually prefer very sharp pencils in groups of five or more so i dont have to stop doing what im doing if one breaks.

No doubt about it, there's SOMETHING about them that is unlike ANYTHING else.
The sharpening of them is like actual work accomplished and it is pleasurable in and of itself. And then there's the smell of the freshly shaved wood. Hmmm!

yeah definitely. I love sharpened pencils. They make sharp, crisp and clean lines..mmmm. Dull pencils are for honkeys.

I've always been a fan of Pencil OS version 2.0. I use it all the time in high school, though it would always crash and I'd have to re-boot the system. Plus the lack of a built in spell checker really sucked.
