Maybe it will instill some guilt in those gasoline proprietor's hearts - their machinery was never meant to dispense product priced that highly. . . On second thought, no, that won't happen.

Btw, this is not in Boston - the antique/outdated pumps mentioned in the article are in rural Vermont.

In Florida, we have these very old "Supertest" gas stations. Maybe they can't compute $3.00 fuel

Maybe they could import old, used European pumps. They were computing $3.00+/gal since a long time ago (although in Pound, Lire, Peseta, etc per liter )
