Thread ratings are for the kind of people who rate their iTunes songs.

News to me, but hey why not. I support positive encouragement.

I'm not going to rate this thread though. It is un-rated.

cheers

To have stars instead of dancing pineapples is tragic.

I think they were trying to implement "View First Unread Post" but turned this on by accident.

I rate this post:

I see this, ratings thing as a sign of somethings going on behind the scenes. This, in addition to increased censorship, editing out expressions which were offensive to the mod on duty (M.O.D. = mod). I don't know. I just don't know. Some of you lament the President of the United States talking down to you, not treating you as adults, keeping secrets from you but in reality when it's done up close and personally you dare not whimper. You can't see it or you show that it really isn't that important to you.

Yeah, this rating thing just appeared today and does anyone know how it works?

Give petty people just a little bit of power and watch how they misuse it! You can't silence the self doubt, can you?

I gave the thread four stars because I was wondering about the same thing and was therefore glad someone posted about it.

An old friend of my great uncle once told me a good investigation should include turning on "View First Unread Post" while you're at it.
