Photos of it anyway...

I need to fill about 30 seconds worth of video with stills of money (the topic for the day) and Google's image search feature really doesn't bring up many good options. So if anyone knows of any great stock photo places that don't charge or something, or if you have images that you'd like to give me that'd be great! Thanks...

Well I could have told you it'd do that. That's why I wanted photos. Most govs now make software and hardware makers not allow money to be scanned...

Thanks anyway though

Can't you just use a camcorder and record someone rolling in a pile of $1's?

^^
just be careful if he asks, "what's it worth to you?"

nah j/joking...you're a man of god, go to a bank and ask if you can take pictures of their money...promise them a blessing as collateral.

edit: or...rent a dvd of a movie that has scenes of money and take a screen shot of it?...

Google Image Search - Money Pile:

Results 1 - 20 of about 698 for money pile. (0.06 seconds)

Seemed easy enough to me.

http://www.dreamstime.com/pileofmoney-image116935 says you can register and recieve one free. And it's even Canadian 20's. I'd just take that image and rotate it for 30 seconds Or some other effect.

istockphoto is your friend, royalty-free, various resolutions per image, between $1 and $3 a pop.

Nope, smarty .

But what you see on Google Images omits the context on the original website, so unless you went to each one to check on the policy whether they were released for use, you would't know, so the 698 as displayed on Google are unusable -- because Google does not own copyright on any of them, they cannot offer use of them.

Every photo is copyright by the producer inherently, and has to be released explicitly -- not the other way around.

Watch out for those royalty-frees as well, sometimes they are royalty-free only for limited uses, and will attract fees if used for broadcast, for example. Read the fine print...

I know that most all of those photos if not all are copyrighted. I was just stating that I found a lot of hits, where he said he didn't find any useful hits from google. I'm sure some of those are freebies, I just wasn't willing to wade through that many photos for another person .

There is a pattern of five circles (among other things) that the scanner and/or software recognize as "money" and prevent you from using the file. There is a name for it, but I can't remember it nor can I find any info on the net.

Found it! The EURion constellation is the pattern of 5 circles that is likely stopping you. This is the best link I can find showing it, but it is a PDF.

Here's one:

By the way I finally found some good pictures, figure these should be good enough for 30 seconds worth of video... I found a side that has most Canadian bills before 2002! (With small water marks)

Yeah, some old friends from high school got their dorm room raided by the secret service several years ago. One of them tried to pass off some bills at a bank. Idiots.

By the way found a great site with tons of bills, and thanks Doofy for those coin sites Maybe I'll post the movies when I'm done... frick I wish I still had my hosting account... I don't think anyone's going to notice the small water marks on the pictures I found.

That said, Keynote has not been behaving as far as Quicktime Export goes! It's giving me weird errors about either the file havinga problem or not having enough disk space but I have no idea what the problem could be!
