What IS it with Jeb Bush, governor of Florida, and his family?

Now we hear that his son was arrested for intoxication in Texas.

And then there is the matter of his sister, Noelle, arrested for forging prescriptions.

As if that weren't enough, she's then arrested twice more for subsequent drug possession - while supposedly in rehab.

Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree?

Their own mother was arrested (later it was declared that she was "interviewed" rather than "arrested" but Customs insisted that they arrested her initially) because she "forgot" to declare close to $20,000.00 worth of jewelry and clothes when she went to Paris - on a shopping spree.

I've never been a big fan of our governor because of the way that he's handled things here, politics aside. Seems that the way he must handle his private affairs are as screwed up as his public policies.

Arrest affadavit if you want to read it. (Note the nice family photo: Noelle probably has drugs in her pocket; Colomba is wearing the nice Parisian jewelry she smuggled into the country; Jeb (on far right) clearly has drinking on his mind; dad (Jeb Sr.) can't wait for the shot to be finished so he can shove another doughnut or pork sandwich into his face.)

Subject arrested for pubic [SIC] intoxication and upon effecting arest subject pulled away and become resistant. Subject continually pushed against this officer and struggled as I attempted to handcuff him. Subject further resisted by pushing back with his body as he was restrained at the APD transport van.

I wonder if the officer - who seems articulate - actually intended to spell "public" as "pubic?"

If he heard, "You don't know who I am - I am the governor of the state of Florida's son! You can't arrest me... I'm going to make sure you lose your job over this... then...

There is also the term "black sheep" and "bad apple" bla bla bla... all meaningless.

P.S. You mean a 21 year old got arrested for being drunk in the bar district?!?

Hey, all they have to do is become Born Again, talk about how they grew from the experience, and insist Christ now walks with them in every step, and all the rubes in this country will strongly consider them to lead the country.
