Apparently Kate Moss likes the blow a little too much?

Should they prosecute her? I hear they're going to try.

Narh. That's just the authorities trying to look like they're doing something in response to everyone asking why she isn't being prosecuted. It'll amount to nothing.

Why? It's not like she's a burden to your dodgy social security system. Let her go into rehab in some private clinic or just let her die. Who cares.

Oh I don't think its so bad, I mean, i got a sig out of it!

So far she's been dropped by H & M, Chanel and Burberry, and the Child Support Agency are looking into the situation with regard to her kid.

She'll get clean, come back after however long it takes, and get the contracts back as if nothing happened.

They should fry the bastard and remove her feeding tube and send her back to oklahoma and do bad stuff to her. And other stuff too.

I want to point out that Coke is like very very popular in the upper society.

I go to a private college in west (rich part of) Montréal, Brébeuf, and once there was a "coke crisis". Students would buy coke (it costs a ****ing lot, but they have the money) and snort it in the toilets. People told me how awful it was and the administration of the school had to intervene.

Anyway, coke heads need help.

Since when do they prosecute for cocaine usage? Unless they catch it on her it's really nobodies business but her own. And it's not like she's a welfare case abusing the system, she can afford it, so it's her choice. Well, maybe she can't afford it now that she's lost a lot of her contracts...

Yup, a lot of high ranking business men do it. Cocaine isn't even that bad of a drug really, except for the addiction part, and long term side effects from too much usage. Used in moderation it isn't that bad.

What a joke that statement is.

I'd sure like my surgeon to be coked out. Or my lawyer. Or my priest or rabbi.

Just not my MacNN moderator.

Oh yeah! WOOOOOT!

I didn't say I approved of people doing it on the job. But what people do in their spare time is not your business nor mine.

Yeah, it's my business. There are laws. The laws are there to protect people. Sometimes even from themselves. If there was no law against it then maybe my doctor or dentist or the judge in charge of a case I was involved in - not to mention a potential juror judging me - might be coked out of his or her head and then it WOULD affect me and it WOULD be my business, wouldn't it?

Well... if you're not addicted, it's OK I guess.... when you do it once a month or less.

Just like every other drug, damnit. Including, but not limited to, Alcohol....

Problem is, with opiates and coke, that it's HARD not to get addicted.

I'm pretty sure at LEAST 1/4th of high ranked, well known people, have snorted coke.
For instance, Rush Limbaugh, he had severed opiate-addiction problems.....

Hey Captain "Beam Me Up Scottie" Obvious:

I'm working while I'm online. What's your excuse?

At least I don't run around in a little rubber suit with a cape like you apparently do. Wear that a lot do you?

I bet you do.

Oh, forgot to add a big thank you - you still LOVE me don't you, Obvious? Once again you see me posting and just have to jump right in and say something. Thanks for the compliment, rubberboy.

I'm sorry Cody. I must confess. My post was promoting my own personal agenda. I don't mind doing coke once in a blue moon. Now should I be arrested and cast into the slums? If I can afford it, and I'm not doing it at work, it's none of your business.

YDC, have you seen your average posts per day compared to everyone else?

Plus we've established you don't have much of an education or career. You're a burnt out middle-aged husk of a woman whose demise isn't going to be very pleasant. If you aren't pill popping now you will be in the near future.

I want them to prosecute busybodies who have no lives and need to fill their days by gossiping under the pretense of "protecting people from themselves." They're more annoying and have a more deleterious effect on society than a rich model doing nothing out of the ordinary for her line of work.

Crack in moderation can't be that bad either.

Crack is just more addictive because the high doesn't last as long, so you want more more more more more more more more more......

Coke doesn't last that long either. But that isn't why crack is so addictive. Crack is more potent.

It is also wack.

Wtf? Since when is it your business what a model on the other side of the Atlantic does with her life? Is it idiotic? Absolutely. Does it automatically make her a bad mother? Absolutely not.

A coke high lasts a lot longer than crack. You cannot argue this for I know. Oh, and coke is more potent. Crack after all is just coke cooked up with baking soda. Crack is an immediate high because it's smoked which affects your body sooner than snorting coke.

Not sure about that... I've heard about guys not using toilet paper after they use the bathroom, and having crack heads lick then clean for a hit.

I agree that there are laws that ought to be followed, but following your logic we should then ban, say, alcohol on the same grounds. I don't like laws that protect me from me. If what I do bleeds into someone else's world, as in your example, then THAT act (drunken *dentistry*, or whatever) should be the problem, not something you do in your own home when no one else is involved. In this case, though, there is a kid, so nothing she did was limited to herself. and that ought to be considered. That alone makes it someone else's business.

There are people who can function very well on heroin...as long as the supply is there.

With crack it's a downward spiral, supply or not.

Jane Bainter from "Jane's Addiction" fame held a full time job during her addiction heyday.

She said that you would be amazed at how well you could cover it up.

Here is an old pic of the infamous Jane
