OK, so I guess this movie would make a great flick for a philosophy class.
So did he find a portal and go back in time to change everything? Did some of the people he "touched" remember what happened? Is that why the mom was just smoking but not crying her eyes out?
Overall, I thought the movie was cool.

Funny; I just watched this movie last night and now there's a thread about it. Anyway I went to the wikipedia article on it to help understand it. The wiki has just about everything you need to know, I think.
