Im looking for a video clip of TV static (Fuzz) to use in a project but I can't find one anywhere.

I can't record it as I have satellite and don't seem to get it.

Any ideas?

You'd probably have to hook up a VCR with no antenna attached to an analog>DV converter to record it. Any kind of serious compression is going to make it look like sh*t, though, because of the randomness of it. DV codecs will probably be acceptable, but MPEG is gonna get really blocky since it has to deal with huge changes (black to white in one frame) every frame. It may look okay while editing, but keep that in mind, depending on what format (and bitrate) you output to.

"I start fires!"
