From the studio and creator of Spirited Away comes Howl's moving castle. It's finally out in theaters here in Oz and i went to watch it the first chance i got. This movie is a work of art in every aspect of movie making. Using the term 'movie' or 'motion-picture' to describe it, dosent do it justice imo, 'motion-painting' is closer to what this was.

And here i was thinking that the only way to have a psychadelic experience was with shrooms and pot. This movie was a trip to a different dimension.

Before this movie Pixar was my favorite animation studio, now it's a tie with Studio Ghibli.

I think it'll appeal to anyone...young, old, male, female, etc. Very highly recommended.

Cheers

Try watching it high..

Oh(s) and Ghibli owns Pixar.

That's a nice poster, also.

Howl's Moving Castle is beyond awesome. My wife and I have considered doing a cosplay, but I can't decide if I'd want to do Howl or Turniphead.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

I thought it was ok. There are some amazing characters and moments in Howl's Moving Castle, but the end of the movie is just ridiculous. Spirited Away is much better.

This is apparently more of a translation problem than anything else. The original ending was both better-written and better-acted.

Hmmm, I'll have to give it another shot once I can watch it with subtitles. Really, the ending of the English version I saw in the theater was beyond painful.

Now that you mention it, it did seem rather rushed.

I watched this movie and was -very- disappointed. The visuals are amazing of course, but the ending was what disappointed me. After a very memorable beginning, the movie just seemed to disintegrate into clichés and deus ex machinas. Oh well.

I saw it when the local moviehouse picked it up over the summer... wonderful.

Don't try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.
