What is the prevailing wisdom concerning setting off URLs in e-mail with braces?
I find that if I write: <http://www.someplace.domain/> in most e-mail clients, whether in plain text or rich (HTML) text mode, will correctly parse the URL and display it as a working, clickable link. But not always.
What's the best way to approach this? I know many modern e-mail clients can parse URLs without the braces. Should I stop putting them in?
