I pretty much agree with 1,2,3. Stargate is ass though.

Ok, without clicking through all those links, where is Space: 1999 listed?

That list is lame. Super hero shows are not sci-fi. Where is Deep Space 9? Did I just miss it or do they consider Voyager to be better? Where is Red Dwarf?

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I like Stargate SG-1, cuz it has a fair amount of humour, but I expected it to be lower down on the list. I agree with #1 and #2 though.

It's a strange list though, considering shows like Futurama and The Avengers are there (even though I liked those shows). I wondered what happened to shows like The Prisoner, although a lot of people didn't like that show. Also, while I am not a huge fan of DS9, I'm surprised it didn't make the list. I did like Voyager better than DS9 though.

EDIT:

They didn't forget DS9. They just didn't like it:

Number 5
'Babylon 5'

'Babylon 5' is arguably one of the best sci-fi shows ever made. Some may compare it to 'Star Trek DS-9' but with a better plot and cast - you be the judge. In the meantime, we'll give 'Babylon 5'; a thumbs up showing in the No. 5 spot.

37? IIRC

What do they consider Sci-fi? I don't see how 3rd Rock is a sci-fi show....

From my Brit perspective, I would go with a list along the lines of:

1) Doctor Who
2) HHGTTG
3) Red Dwarf
4) Blakes Seven (gotta be in there somewhere).
5) Quatermass

Interestingly all BBC programmes; has ITV ever made sci-fi?

I saw this link elsewhere, it was determined to be a bunk. Thus, all the shows are listed kind of randomly.
