several years ago, their was a photo in the National Geographic Magazine showing a hut and the roof of the hut was the top of the ET (space shuttle external tank). obviously that part survived reentry. wow scary.

I've done numerous searches on google and on the N.G. site. no joy. so perhaps one of you National Geographic readers might remember the photo in question and help me out. I'm pulling my hair out and thats a hard thing to do since I'm already bald.

the time frame is perhaps late 1990's or early 2000 ?

any help would be appreciated.

_,.
a solitary firefly flies at nite
into the darkness an endless flight
a million flashes of delight.
