I liked the movie (as a kid).
There's a certain phrase burned in my head though. Everytime I'm coding and debugging my app and it steps into a library I don't have the source for, the disassembler window opens. This is totally useless for me, I just cry out "No disassemble! No disassemble Johnny 5!"

I remember the film, and I thought it was great as a kid, even if it did have Steve Guttenberg in it . I remember the credits at the end having scenes in it that were never in the film, i think in a scrapyard, might have been Short Circuit 2, but I dont remember it in that either. Oh yeah, and Short Circuit 2 was crap.

I haven't seen anything of him for ages, maybe even since Three Men and a Baby/Little Lady films (was he in the second one???), so I did a bit of a search around -
Wiki link
"Steve will join the critically acclaimed show Veronica Mars in fall 2005.
He also appears as a lead in the NBC mini-series, "The Poseidon Adventure", scheduled to air on November 20, 2005. He plays Richard Clarke, a failing writer having an affair with a massage therapist when the boat tips over."
