hey all.

I'm thinking about ditching my landline Voice service for $50 a month and going with a 14.99 VoIP service.

Anyone have this and how does it work for you. It is hard to find goor reviews of the services since it is still pretty virgin territory.

Yep. Search for "Vonage".

I used ot for almost a year. Wouldn't switch back to landline. Except if you need fax or modem capabilities. But even that you can get for $ 10 extra as a dedicated line with a dedicated number.

My roommate uses Skype a lot to talk to his friends back home... it works pretty well for him, he has one of those headsets with a mike attached
