I always liked Sebastian Bach's reasoning for naming his kids London and Paris... ...so he could come down stairs every morning and shout (in rock star on stage during World tour kind of voice) "hello London!", "hello Paris!".

Better than pulling a Beckham and naming them after the cities they were conceived in.

Yes, imagine that disappointment: Morning Philadephia, Chicago, backseat-of-moms-old-stationwagon, should I fix some cereal for you?

What no one in the media seems to point out is that Cage was attached to star in a Superman movie for the longest while, and then it fell through, and so now we have this Brian Singer film.
The dude is sort of obsessed with Superman.

When you were young and your heart was an open book, you used to say "live and let live."
But if this ever changing world, in which we live in, makes you give in and cry, say "live and let die."

Actually, he's a major comic collector (his stage name is actually based on Luke Cage (he's the nephew of Francis Ford and cousin to Sophia).
He used to have a Action Comics 1 on display in his living room (the first appearance of Superman and the most expensive comic in the world).
Kal Cage is pretty cool, I like it.

Sorry. But please don't take the "obsessed with Superman" point personally. I mean, Cage is really obsessed.

Nah he's just doing the Hollywood thing to make sure his name stays out there for all to hear. If it comes at the expense of their kids thats what he has to do. Just wait till he gets the bill from his sons therapist...lol...he wish he would have thought twice on naming him that name.

Yep, he autioned off all his rare comics back in 2002, including the unbelievably rare fanzines that Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster made as teenagers that featured the very first printed appearance of Superman.

He'll probably go to some school with other famous kids who have equally ridiculous names.

Fixed™.
Also, shouldn't his first name be spelled "Kal-El"?
