Blah. Any one else disappointed with the first three episodes of this series? And could they make that "orientation reel" any less authentic? It looked like a high-school project. Maybe hire some of the guys who worked on Peter Jackson's Forgotten Silver perhaps?

Great first season. Looks like they can't live up to it this season though.

Episode 2-1 was good
Episode 2-2 was a dull rehash of 2-1 with some Michael being a whining bitch ass thrown in.
Episode 2-3 was just pointless.

Feels to me like they can't figure out what direction to go with the story, so they are throwing in a couple of plot lines here and there, but not developing anything. Seems like the writers are just dragging their feet. Really like season 1. Really would like to like season 2, but so far it has been down hill. How many episodes left until this becomes Gilligan's Island of Doom?

I think the problem was that since season 1 was so short (as far as number of episodes go), each episode was quited action-packed and moved forward well. This season, they have to s-t-r-e-t-c-h the episodes out as much as possible... things are happening at half the speed of something like 24...

The third episode was pretty lackluster, but the first two are as good as anything from the first season. I'm very excited to see Jin speaking English soon, but it would be nice if we found out a little more about Walt's whereabouts.
