The council of elders must discuss this transgression.

on a serious note, my 2 year old high energy daughter spilled a pot of hot tea on her (it mostly missed her, but got her forehead and shoulder).. it wasn't piping hot, thank God, but she ended up with 2nd degree on her forehead.. she's just now (month later) getting to where there is no sign of the spill.

I would make sure you put something on it if it burned, though adult skin as far more robust.

I have never spilled tea on my lap.
Can't say that about other beverages.

Did you drop your drawers so you wouldn't burn yourself, or did you wipe it with napkins and go with the pain?

I have spilled lots of things on my lap. But I don't like tea. So tea wasn't one of them.

I hope that you didn't burn yourself. Are you alright?

I once spilled coffee on my lap and it kept me up all night.

Yeah, switch to tea. That's spill-proof.
