Do you use them? Have any resourceful links on becoming a wizard of navigating newsgroups?
I've been getting some cool stuff using Unison (app)
I use my ISP's newsgroup, but don't know much about finding anything I'm actually looking for.. I've kinda been browsing, stumbling upon things etc.
Oh, and man - they're blazingly fast!

In the years prior to the Forums I posted to Mac newsgroups. And once in a great while, if I have absolutely nothing else to do at the time, I'll browse some topics. They just lost their appeal for me.

With Hogwasher (don't know about "Unison"), just go to the groups list and search on whatever keyword you want. Then subscribe to the resulting lists for a couple of days to see if you think it's going to be any good.

I used Unison for a short time today, then I threw it out. My news server is slow and I prefer the Lounge. But it is a nice program.

I usually use MT as well. Too used to the cmd keys for it to change.
