Famous criminal analyst - CNN - wife is murdered.
This is pretty sad.
Wonder who did it?
I guess it's a hazard of your job that you would be hurt - or your spouse or children - in some situations? Remember that federal prosecutor in Pennsylvania that was murdered? He was working on the prosecution of some gangs. That was Jonathon Luna.
Then there was federal judge Joan Lefkow whose husband and mother were murdered in her home.
Scary.
What I don't understand is HOW it happens. These people are in high profile positions. You'd think that safety would be taken seriously. My house has two alarms and a big dog and I have a gun handy because I think about these things. Why didn't these people?
Too bad.

And maybe they'll end up dead in the process too.
Besides, we live in a community where everyone is on camera, all of the time, so I'm not too worried.
