Can someone please explain how a tea ceremony works? This forum got my hooked on the TV show "Kung Fu" from the 1970's, and the main character likes to drink tea. This got me thinking about the Asia-Pacific region and tea. How is one performed, and what are they used for?

Very true. Though really, after you get done with the entire ceremony, the tea isn`t very good.

I went to a tea ceremony here once:

It was interesting and educational. I enjoyed the tea too.

It's located about 25 minutes North of my house.

The tea is very bitter (that's why it is usually accompanied by something sweet), not everyone likes bitter things.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I take it we're talking green tea or Nihon-Cha. It's an aquired taste. Very good for your insides.
