so im out at the bar with my buddies and we end up going to the casino. at 5am i get back to my car and it occurs to me its been broken into. The whole dash was torn off exposing the electrical guts of the car. the dumbarses didnt steal my deck though, or even the CDs sitting on my passenger seat, wtf?! granted i would have been a lot more pissed if they had stolen something but i still have to go through the trouble of putting my dash back together. I'm just glad I took my bag out of my car containing my ipod and journal. sorry, had to vent to someone and no one is awake at 5am.

That sucks man. At east you didn't loose anything... except the time it takes to re-asemble a dash.

I'm very sorry to hear that TubaMuffins. I hope that the dash board reattachment will go smoothly.

Wait, were you parked at the casino? Any video cameras in the parking lot? Did you check?

well, i just finished putting it back together (although poorly) so that at least my blinkers work. It only took 20 minutes. I was parked near the bar for about 5 hours with my doors unlocked. Last time i do that i guess.

You think it might have been your auto insurance agent? His unspoken message: ALWAYS LOCK YOUR CAR!

I'm sorry for your pain and feeling of violation.
Give petty people just a little bit of power and watch how they misuse it! You can't silence the self doubt, can you?
