I know this has been posted and I've done a search, but I'm looking for the names of the songs used in OS X's intro.
I know one of them is Eple but I dont know what version of OS X its used in and same for the Sofa Surfers songs. Were there any other songs? And what version of OS X was it used in?

there was one used in a prerelease of 10.3 I think. No idea what it's called, but I have the movie if anyone wants it.

I was wondering where the intro movie is stored.

Thank you Dex. I do, in fact, know how to use Google, and if I were more than mildly interested in finding an answer to my question I would have searched for it. But I was, indeed, only mildly interested.

In 10.0-10.2 the intro tune was the Kruder & Dorfmeister mix of Sofa Rockers by Sofa Surfers. 10.3 had Eple by Röyksopp, while the tune in 10.4 is Bytecry by Weevil

Corrected. Eple is Apple in Norwegian by the way. Röyksopp is from my hometown and I saw them live already in the nineties, years before anyone had heard of them. They have a new album out, which you can purchase here.

Damn - sorry, I knew there was an ¨ in there somewhere, and I've no idea where the é came from.
I never get genders for inanimate objects and accents right (except for French occasionally.) Never been good at languages...

I saw them many years ago in Berlin, as the opening act for Moby. The "funny" thing, Röyksopp roxxored, Moby suxxored. I really enjoyed them a lot.

Maybe because it's reminiscent of Christmas?
