Some responses from a (surprise surprise) neo-conservative Islamophobic site:
Seeing as how I dont know a single gamer that uses one (were talking high-end gaming, not shitty CS:S) and yes, yearly I attend a LAN in excess of one-hundred players...and have yet to see a Mac there the last three years..
Their obviously using them as several thousand dollar paper weights.
The mac is useful as a paperweight.
When you swith to Mac, you gotta change hardware. Along with buying new hardhare with every OS.
PC, not so much.
Mac guys always debate software. They got nothing on hardware.
Funny, I use a mac for work and a PC at home. Mainly because Apple has yet to release a suitable response to the idea of a Media Center PC. And because TC:Elite is only available for Windows and Linux. And both of those are PC only.
Macs are stellar for Video Editing, Sound editing, but **** ass for gaming.
PCs are good for Video Editing, excellent for sound editing, and are kick ass for gaming.
Macs have their place. At Pixar, Dreamworks, etc.
****ing morons.

this is why I built a gaming rig that I feel I have to baby so I dont have to re-format it every month... and I use my mac for EVERYTHING else, school work, internet surfing, ichat...
and then I use my pc, boot it up... start x-fire, and then BF2... and thats it's sole purpose...
if you want specs...
amd 64 3200+
Nvidia 6600 GT
Gigabyte K8 triton (mobo)
1gb ram
and a hard drive and dvd drive..
I only spent like $550 on it when it was all said and done, not too bad.. I just hate XP with a passion...

That Amazon link gives Macs an unfair advantage off the bat.
When you buy a stock Compaq/HP/Dell/etc. PC, you have like 10+ options per model (10+ separate model numbers). When you buy a stock Mac you get what, 3 options?
People could be buying more PCs than Macs through Amazon, but by model number sales the Macs would have an advantage because their is less choice in their lineup.
Now I'm not saying that I don't like how that looks...
