eh, just me and my buddy and his wife. they're cool. I was at their place.. it probably would have been nice with naked cheerleaders there too, but they'd be scared and complaining and crying etc.. dig it.

heh, the MREs.. I didn't indulge, but there were some wasted dudes at that bar who were eating the 'hash browns and cheese' directly off the pool table.

it came with Red-Hots, mints, powdered apple cider and a mini tabasco bottle.

I hope I never have to eat an MRE for any reason other than drunken retardedness.

Very nice pictures, thank you for sharing.

I still have no power, it's been 10 days. If not for my friend putting me up at his place, I'd be insane right about now.

It's strange that this storm got such little National coverage by the media.

I read that it's the 3rd largest $$ damaging hurricane ever. (1.Katrina, 2.Andrew, 3.Wilma)

oh, and we're on the 10th day of curfew here.

It started out as a 7 pm curfew.

Changed to 9 pm.

It was lifted here on Halloween(Broward County) but my city (Fort Lauderdale) kept an 11pm curfew. Still in effect.

Puts a serious damper on my list of "Things to do"

No sir, I stopped by there today. For what it's worth, most of my block has power. Unfortunately, that's worth ****.

The staging area for all the utility/power trucks is just massive. From all over the country, thousands of trucks it seems.

Hope we're next!
