My team has been sucking, but CAN THEY DO IT? Beat Manning again?

Colts schedule has been soft. Pats are injured. Maybe it's just me, but this is a HUGE game. Exciting if nothing else. Let's just see.

Sucking? Not compared to the Packers

I am looking forward to the result of this game. The reigning champions vs the only team that hasn't lost a game yet.

cheers

Cheers.

But that bites, my first 3 plays were covered by some TV broadcast... When I got it they were inside the 20.

Down now. My fault. Didn't see it. Crap

If the Colts are ever going to beat the Pats, it's gonna be tonight. And if they get home-field in the playoffs, they will be in the super bowl. Is that in a dome this season?

I agree.

And yes- Detroit is a dome, right? Not being a smart-ass, just not sure.

Yup, Detroit is in a dome. (The staduim, at least. If the whole city were in a dome, I'd hope it was bulletproof...)

Who in the NFC is worth anything this year? Giants? Falcons?

Hm... I'll go for my second fave... Falcons and not all because of Vick. They can win their backup too.

PS- also moving from New England to GA in 7 weeks. But I will ALWAYS love my Pats. Win or lose.

In that case, please bring your Red Sox with you. The only thing worse than a Yankee fan is two Braves fans.

No attempt at being mean, but think about it - there's now way the NFL would let Detroit host the Superbowl without a dome, considering how cold it can be around February. That's why the Bear's will never host the Superbowl

Assante Samuel just prevented the Colts from running it up. Lots of good games this week.

I'm rooting for the Colts tonight. I'm a bitter Raider fan and I still haven't gotten over that "Tuck Rule". I'd say "friggin' Pats", but really all I can say is "friggin' Raiders". They could have overcome that whole tuck thing, but noooooooo. They let New England have their way with them. Friggin' underacheiving bunch of has-beens. We need Chuckie Gruden back.

Gruden aint exactly been to spectacular either. Tampa probably would have won without him that year, that was still Dungy's team build there. The following year showed the Gruden team. Nuf said. Same with Callahan with the Raiders that year.

that we do. I am also a disappointed Raiders fan. They can do better. Go Raiders! Tonight I am also rooting for the Colts. I have no problems with seeing NE go down. Brady annoys me to no end and I think they play fantastically boring football. My second fav team is the Packers because of Favre. A game with Favre is never dull.

Well, at 34-14 two minutes into the fourth quarter I'd say NE have been beaten. The Colts will not give any team three touchdowns in the next 12 minutes - let alone without scoring some themselves.

cheers

Sweet! Go Colts!!!!
I've been waiting all season for this game.
I've been avoiding this thread and anywhere else that I might hear a score from, cause we get the game on a 2 hour delay out here.

Still in the 4th quarter actually, but thanks to a high school friend putting out a tornado bulletin w/ the Colts score tacked on i found out at halftime anyways. Had to tell another friend to call me back tomorrow after he told me the first quarter score before the game had even started here

I think I prefer seeing the Peyton scrunched-up-constipated-can't-win face over the smug mug on TV during the game. I still love how Bellichek still managed to f Manning's mindset up over with that challenge/non-challenge during the 2-point conversion try (which was lame of Dungy to do as well).

That said, Flutie looked old and slow.

This is the same team that was down 17-0 on the Rams before Bulger got injured?

Oh well. So exciting I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter. Woke up and it was over. I was skeptical. Our defense was too beat up to withstand the Colts strong offense. Such is life.

That wasn't intentional, he threw the flag out of rage because he lost his temper. He acted like a spoiled 4 y/o during and after that game. Sad, very sad. n:

On the plus side. Woohoo!!! Colts!

The Pats now need to just focus on next weeks game. They will be back.
