Does any of the N64-emulators support hi-res textures?

You'll have to read the thread I posted above. You need an emulator, and this mod and that mod and those video drivers or something. It's a pain in the ass, but might be worth it, viewing the images in the gallery.

I thought the original OoT already had great graphics for its time.

For its time, yes. It's nice to see 3D games get a face lift, though. It keeps the game alive while the system that it originally came on fades away.

THe only N64 Mac emulators are Sixtyforce (which has been dead for a while), and Mupen (which perpetually lags behind the Windows version).

The FTP yields a file with a .ace extension... What emulator plays those files?

AFAIK, Roms are not emulator dependent, so you could easily change the file extension of this ROM to associate with any emulator.

Ocrania of Time was playable on Sixtyforce, I'll try this ROM tonight... I have a feeling it will be too slow to be playable.

Well the FTP download link seems to not be working right now anyway... It was working a little while ago.

I'd love to play some of my N64 games on my G5, if only to counteract this insane frame dropping that happens when more than 2 things are moving on the screen at the same time.

The file requires an unarchiver that handles rar and WinACE formats. I've got everything unarchived, the file is basically a folder of texture PNG files. This isn't a ROM.

I'll let you know if there is a way to get it to work outside of Project 64 and 1964 which are Windows only.

This game requires the Rice plug-in, which doesn't seem to work within MUpen or Sixtyforce.

I guess we're out of luck.

Thats cool, but I mean when the game came out, it was already super cool. Still is.
