I have a similar story. A friend's dad died and I was helping the family go through his tech things as they were pretty ignorant about computers and other gadgets. I knew he'd have porn on his computer, and I didn't really want them to think bad of him, so I went through and deleted all of it that I could find. I didn't think much of their video camera though and I didn't go through it.
Well, there was a tape in the box without a label, and immediately a flag went up in the back of my head. So the family wanted to play it went and stuck it in and played it. Ended up, it was the neighbors having sex and the tape was given to the dead dad by the husband.
Very embarassing.
