CNN is reporting Nike's corporate jet crashes. Nike's CEO not aboard. Where is Nike's newest board member, Apple's COO Tim Cook?

This is something else: I'm watching it live on Fox News.

Wonder what will happen? What drama! Hope no one gets hurt. Apparently there's a problem because if only one wheel is down, which is the case, when it lands it can cartwheel.

They're burning fuel right now.

I hope everyone is okay. How surreal. The people on the jet must be FREEEE-king out.

This is not newsworthy and certainly not worth spamming over such as the topic starter who spammed this forum with a billion threads containing the false title.

It will be newsworthy if it crashes, but devoting a ton of time on the news stations to this event is a waste of time.

Hi PacHead:

I respectfully disagree. I'm glued to my television set. This is real drama.

Yes, I guess there is a difference of opinion. This is one of the few times where I actually had Foxnews on and I shut my tv off.

I have double posted before because of server glitches, but a ton of posts (6-7) ? Maybe, must have been some glitch.

And speaking of Gulfstreams, there was a Gulfstream ad on this forum on the top of this thread when I opened it.

Maybe they shouldn't hire 8-year-old kids out of Thailand to fix their landing gear.

When is it scheduled to land ? I'll watch it when it's landing to see if it crashes, but just watching it fly around in the air and listening to some talking heads is boring.

Can anyone give any more details on this? I am unable to get to a TV right now, and I can't find anything online about it.

Nah, it's been happening a few times recently. I think it was bstone who set the record by somehow managing to post the same thread around 75 times in the Marketplace, with no content in any of them.

Just heard on the radio that MSNBC reports the landing gear has come down and they expect a fully safe landing. They also said the CEO is on the plane (the new CEO, not Phil Knight).

Ok, that totally sucked, the plane just landed safely though I'm sure the people on board are glad for that.

What a waste of a few hours of news time.

In related news some car got a flat tire on the belt parkway. They have called the AAA and they are now waiting for a towtruck. Will they be able to fix the flat and make it safely home ? Newschoppers are currently hovering over the area and reporting all of the details. Stay tuned to this breaking news.

I know. After using up our precious time and CNN's air time the least they could do is throw some bodies out before hand or blind-fold the pilot for the landing. Give us our entertainment.

Man, CNN is slipping.
