I can get on xbox.com on my PC with IE or FF, but my mac can't get on with safari, says the server is busy. Any one else get this?

Unfortunately, I (still) get "Connection failed - server did not respond" about 20% of the time with Safari (2.01) [on any or all sites - incl. MacNN & Apple]. Can't remember if anyone in app forum had an explanation for why Safari is so temperamental like that - but seems it was commented on months ago.

The only time I ever get that message is when my wireless connection drops out or my net bandwidth is jammed.

Hmm, Gradient...
I'll need to see what happens when I'm at Panera's or something. I'm not truly impressed by my DSL performance at home.

Ya I was travelling last month and was using the wifi connection supplied by the building where I was renting a room. The bandwidth was totally inconsistent and every few hours It would almost completely shut down....time out after time out after time out...... kind of reminded me of being on dial-up. Man I don't miss those terrible, terrible times.
