Anyone have any lightweight day hiking boots that they could recommend? I'm not looking to climb mountains, I'm looking for some light yard work, indoor and outdoor style hiking boots. I'm not having much luck. Anyone have a recommendation?

Hi-Tek has some good inexpensive boots. Some even have GoreTex lining in them.

Danner makes the most reliable, comfortable boots I 've ever owned. I used to work as a forest ranger and these lasted me several years of 10+ miles per day on rough trails. They might be overkill for your purposes, although they do make several lightweight models.

Check these out. Waterproof, good support and pretty damn stylish!
