I bought a 60gig iPod today and i have been looking around the internet for good video footage to put on it along with the music videos and pixar animations i've gotten off iTunes.

I figured that video podcasts were a good way to find some cool videos. Hopefully we can come up with a good list of podcasts (or other good video content) for the iPod.

(i did search, but didn't see any posts like this, sorry if this is a duplicate).

I guess i'll go first with what i've found.

happy tree friends
g4 tv - attack of the show
g4 tv - x-play's video podcast
mactv videocast (iPod edition)

and my favorite

channel frederator

If you'd like something more random, I'd recommend using a del.icio.us feed. You can even add your own tags! Check out this Lifehacker article:

Agreed. Rocketboom is nothing compared to something like TikiBar TV. Those people put some work into their show. Rocketboom is just kinda 'I'm a blonde, look at me...now let's look at a web video.'

I love Channel Frederator.

SBS Australia provides "real" TV-shows as podcasts, check out
Speaking In Tounges - Hillarious talk show with a skewed take on religion and weird things. Sadly finished for the season, but you can grab all the shows.
World Tales - For fans of Channel Frederator, animated tales of the world.

Oh, and as posted above, this is a great tip: Subscribe to funny web-videos from del.icio.us:

I watched Diggnation once. IMO they are talking heads that fart and swear. Never downloaded it again.

Rad. I caught the first Episode of this before I went overseas and missed the rest of the season. I didn't realise they had a podcast of it. I already have Triple J's Sunday Night Safran on the audio podcast, this will compliment it nicely.

I hadn't tried diggnation before and I just downloaded the most recent episode #0031 and I'm already cringing three minutes in. For crying out loud do some frickin' research at least on the things that you are going to talk about. Hoegaarden is a wheat beer. Pixar was never part of Disney.

Holy crap, some people embarrass themselves quite often by talking about things they have no idea about. But to do it openly like this on the internet? Geez!

Ya know, I had to send my old iPod to my other half in Iraq and I bought a new one. Didn't even know this stuff was available.

Sunday Nights on Triple J (not sure what the frequency is up in the Gold Coast), or here.

They came back on air just last week I think, so it's good timing for you.

Good timing indeed. Downloading the first episode now. Wish there were a backlog of downloadables available.
