Either I hallucinated, or the mods are quick or...

I was browsing some board (Applications?) and someone with 55 posts (named something like Mcorb or McCorb) responded with just a LINK named "link".

So, naively trusting MacNN community I clicked on it... only to be told I'd given $HC10 to some dude.... at some site called rewardhits .com .

So I tried to post a reply asking if pyramid schemes were okay on the boards, but by the time I posted it, the Mcorb or whoever's post was no longer above my reply.

Has this pyramid-looking thing been going around? Have mods been (silently) knocking such things off as soon as they notice them?
