Guys,

I'm looking for a unique gift idea for the wife.

Jewelry is too predictable. I want to do something different. Last year I bought her a 2 hour spa treatment which she enjoyed, but again, I don't want to repeat that.

However: My creative juices have run dry.

Any ideas?

I got my wife a handmade jewelry box from Italy.
I got her a Vornado heater for the office.
I'm getting her a TiVo.
I'm getting her a couple of DVDs she's been wanting.
I'm getting her this knitting kit thingie she's been eyeing for a few days.
I'm getting her gift cards for clothing stores as stocking stuffers.

Feel free to use any of those on your wife.

set up a threesome. All chicks dig that, so I hear.

And that should get your creative juices flowing again, methinks.

Maybe you will get lucky and she will drop some hints at to what she wants. I like all the ideas except for one. Good luck.

Some good ideas here guys. (Noted: Some, not all!) <GRIN>

Thanks for the tips. It's a starting point. She's dropped no hints at all this year, which, quite frankly sucks.

It *is* going to be a light year since I bought her an Acura a few months back as an early holiday present.

I never heard of Prada until this thread. Already bought her an iPod and a laptop. (She's had a good year ...)

I like the clothing store gift cards for stocking stuffers.

I'll keep plugging. Thanks.

Why not get her a pair of slippers and a vibrator? If she doesn't like the slippers she can go f**k herself...

It's not an effort in reciprocity! It's the spirit of giving!

cjrivera: Already gave her an iBook ... I'll save the Quad G5 purchase for me. <smile>

Have you taken a lot of photos of her over the past year? You could always do an iPhoto book...

Scoff all ya want, but I'm sure a lot of chicks would find it romantic. Not knowing that its total B.S. and you could achieve the same result by pointing towards the night sky and saying "That one... that one is yours."

make her something - maybe a scrapbook of pictures from your life together - or a slideshow with music on your mac. or just get her some sexy clothes - good for the both of you

Yeah, a scrapbook sounds really nice. And I can sell you some cool naked pics of her to throw in there.

Now that I know she's already spoiled rotten, I have no input.

Sponsor a starving child in her name. The scrapbook is nice.

(It's not meant to sound as bitter as it does, but really- a car, puter and mp3?)

Really. If anything, take a pic of the car, computer, and mp3 player, print them out, and shove them in a christmas card. Give them to her.

Heck, send me a $1000 to help pay my tuition and I'll send her a custom piece of artwork in my gratitude. Then she can at least know her christmas helped someone out.

Sure, but you could do the same with Illustrator and a color laser printer. Would look just as authentic.

A Manowar CD.

Fuzzy house shoes and a nice warm robe. Maybe bunny slippers if your house is nice and toasty, but definitely the robe. Nothing "sexy," just warm and snuggly.
