Forbes put out this list. It's pretty humerous to read.

I would have thought Bond villains would be right up there.

No kidding - Dr. No & Goldfinger together would own the entire list.

Maybe the list only included not-so-bad villains and omitted the really bad ones, ya know, for the kids.

And wouldn't Darth Vadar be pretty rich - or just omnipotent?

I don't think Vader was rich. The Empire was rich, but Vader was probably just moochin off of the Empire's fat bank account. He just had all the scary power. I mean, who's gonna say no to him when he asks for some cash? Not me.

Goldfinger was on their "drop off" list.

For Sci-Fi folks, I would think "Q" from ST:TNG (who was omnipotent) could make all the wealth he wanted...

How was Scrooge McDuck after Monty Burns? Scrooge owns everything in Duckberg. Burns only has that power plant.

But most of Scrooge's money is in gold coins and real estate.

How do they measure Scrooge’s net worth to be $8 billion, I wonder? Last time I heard, it was somewhere in the vicinity of 150 fantasillion, though that was in DKK.

---

After a bit of Wikiing, it seems that Forbes simply ignored all the made-up -illions and only counted the $8.2 billion he got from some mining deal.

Scrooge's net worth seems to be up for debate:

Damn you Oisín, barely beating me to it by a mere... 45 minutes.

How funny that their richest fictional people are worth less than the actual richest people in the world.

Ebenezer Scrooge wasn't that rich, he was just cheap. That's dumb. The order of them all is kinda funny.
