I love to look at signs.
Whenever you go into a small town you are bound to find that small town minds seem to like to name their businesses after themselves. "Bob's Video." "Artie's Guns." "Joe's Taxidermy."
Sometimes, though, you come across some real gems, including just plain mistakes, like the one below.
One in our area was on a strip mall sign near the road. There is a Chinese restaurant called "Yin Can Cook."
Well, another tenant at the mall was a pet store. They paid for and put up a sign on the sign that said "Puppies." Not "pet store" or "pets" but "puppies." When you drove by the sign said in big bold yellow letters "Yin Can Cook" and right below that in red bold was "Puppies." So, everyone thought that the restaurant was "Yin Can Cook Puppies."
They got a lot of complaints and eventually the pet store closed down and moved.
If you have a good sign picture you can post let's see it.
