Hi all!
I'm trying to get a film from an educational distributor.
I didn't claim I was with a school when I ordered it, so they won't sell it too me since they don't have the home viewing rights. They did say in the email "however, if you are affiliated with any type of school or organization we would be able to sell this to you."
Any advice on how to "socially engineer" this situation, or more importantly, could I get in any real trouble (as in fraud, I'm not worried about getting caught for violating the license agreement).
I understand I'm treading in a moral grey area here, and will certainly accept it if the general consensus is that I'm out of line.
In case anyone cares, the movie is
Double Helix with Jeff Goldblum, about Watson and Crick discovering the structure of DNA. It's quite good, and isn't available any other way I could find.
Thanks!
