He'll be eligible in three years. Playing baseball in other leagues doesn't affect Major League Baseball Hall of Fame eligibility.

Haha, nice jokes...that Roch dude is a hoot.

At any rate, I found out the specifics. Supposedly Rickey tipped somebody off yesterday at the Hollywood ESPN Nightclub Grand Opening that he was retiring from the game of baseball for good.

I would expect a more formal announcement in the very near future.
