in the 6 years that i have been using computers i have only accumulated 3860 desktop pictures. I was wondering how many other people with more years under their belt have?

Sweet Jesus, 3860 desktop pics?? I have certainly collected a lot in my time, but I usually get rid of them and only have about 10 at the most on hand at any given time.

My desktop randomly cycles through my iPhoto library, so around 1700 for me.

Quite a few, though I download them and never use them. Maybe 300 or so. As of the past year or two I only change my desktop once every three or four months, and usually its a self shot picture of landscapes or something.

regular apple ones + a Clockwork Orange desktop i made a while ago that i use. A few nice big landscape pictures that i used on my PC back home.
if i used my iPhoto library, however, that'd bring my total up to about 6100.

Are you guys serious, I would have guessed that people had tons and tons that cycle through throughout the days. I cant picture myself seeing the same desktop picture for more than an hour.
I thought about putting my iphoto library, but there are less than 2k pictures on that, plus i was never a big fan of having personal pictures as your desktop pictures. Just seems weird.

I try to pic desktops that aren't distracting. Mastrap has the idea.. and Is USUALLY what I use. A blueish grey plain background. Esp when I am at work doing graphics.
