I shoulda left at 3 AM just to get new ears.

It's 18˚!

When I left Ga on Monday, it was 72˚!!!!

18 degrees? It was 0 in Chicago this morning. That's not adjusted for wind chill.

I'm used to the cold, working outside all winter makes sure of that.

It was -2 C today in my little slice of Japan. I know this because my school isn't heated. I can't believe my co-teacher told me to "Take off the gloves when in class." Sigh... my hands were turning blue.

I live in boston, and while not as cold as some of the other posters, it was a nice little shock to the system.

I'm sure the OP will learn rather quickly if he has a car to start it up and let it warm up, that's the first thing I do in the morning - run outside and start up the beast.

My wife has a remote (I can't my truck is a standard) she justs presses a button.

I dunno, man. I played golf in short sleeves yesterday after work. I'll play again on Saturday.

Snow is nice and all, but I'd rather just see it when I want to.

27F here in San Antonio this morning (it's up to 28 now!). Please note that it's WAY below averages for here-and it was drizzly last night so there are some slick spots on the roads. So few people here drive like they understand friction and inertia that just a little ice makes the roads dangerous for everyone. What fun, eh?

Ok, it would be really helpful if EVERYONE here would indicate if their temperature is in F or C.

Just have to live the right part. We never really get the storms in the Tampa area. Further south is a problem and so is the panhandle.

Pussies!

It's a balmy 0 C here right now (-4 with windchill). This is the warmest we've had it in over a week. Until now we've been averaging probably -15 to -20 C. I walked home from class a couple nights ago, and it was -24 C with windchill (especially downtown windchill) close to -35.

Now that'll give you a little tingle in your balls.

Call me a pussy if you want, but I call you a fool. Weather that is so extreme as to potentially cause death is simply foolish. It's 73F here today. You should visit us in the winter. You'll probably laugh when you see everyone wearing pants and coats if the temperature drops into the 60s.

I hate the cold. I really do.

But there is something that can be said for a nice fireplace, warm drink, and good company on cold days.

Snow today and cold (up to 12" due) .... I can't wait to move- once I get plowed out! I have to leave work early today to get my oil burner serviced. I think I'll just stay there and have a movie marathon.... hmmmm... what's a good warm drink for movie watching?

A beautiful New England day, snowing. Such an awesome view.

Arizona weather is boring... 68 degrees Fahrenheit (that's 20 degrees Celsius, for all you people who use thermometers that make sense).

I miss snow, and fireplaces, and hot drinks... *sob*

You got lucky.

Here on the Cape we got the usual 3" of nice snow followed by the "just above freezing" rainstorm. Nothing is colder than a damp rainy day at the freezing mark, I'll take a 10º sunny day in the middle of winter over this sh!t.
