I have a job for an Intern writer/copyeditor which obviously is unpaid but I know interns would love the opportunity to do it as it looks good on a Resumé.

So where do I find one? I know I can call some schools on the area but I was hoping more for a free online site as this job can be done from anywhere.

Anyone?

craigslist is a good place to start.

Although, unpaid internships suck IMO. We try and pay at least a token amount.

I dunno, the inters at my last job (the gay magazine) LOVED working there and with me. 95% of them who worked were straight and had to re-touch iffy pictures all day... but loved it anyway. They got lots of experience, built up a portfolio in no time and some even became part time employees. To many of there friends were stuck at big magazines making coffee or photocopying all day.

I too would suggest Craig's List. That site is amazing. And its free.

I put a couch on their once and I sold it within 4 hours. I put a bed on there and sold it the next day. I found my current job on there and my boss said he got over 50 apps in 4 days from Craig's List alone. The site is amazing.

My university and a lot of others use an online directory for jobs and internships, and you are able to search for openings in other parts of the world as well. Perhaps something like that would be useful.

I'd take that over re-touching iffy gay pictures all day long...
