The consumer computers will go first. First will be the iBook and immediately followed by the Mac mini. The iBook will go first because laptops have better sales and higher profit margins than the Mac mini. The pro machines will be last because of Rosetta and universal libraries. The target market that uses Apple's consumer computers do not care whether their apps run natively, however the pros do care and will not want their pro apps (FCP, Logic, Photoshop, etc.) running in Rosetta. By releasing the consumer computers with Intel first, this give the developers more time to convert their apps to universal libraries.
