So what's the deal with these foreign online pharmacies that offer prescription drugs without the prescription. Are they all scams? Has anyone here actually successfully bought something off of one of these?

Not scams, you just pay out the ass for them. And you will be "watched"

Also, beware that these drugs have not been approved by the USDA. They may claim to be exactly the same as approved medication, but most often they are not. And if you were to get seriously hurt by one of these, there's nothing you can legally do. You're pretty much screwed. And messing around with prescription drugs that are not approved is not a very smart idea. Even approved ones are a gamble if you aren't given proper instruction.
Case in point, my uncle got prescribed some medications for an ailment and it just so happened that the doctor who prescribed it did it wrong. He mixed medications that weren't supposed to be mixed. Because of the bad combination he was given by his doctor, he suffered from a massive brain aneurism and fell into a nearly brain dead state. He suffered for 8 months before he died.
I wouldn't trust foreign "prescriptions" for anything.

Huh? You mean the FBI will rape me?
And a lot of them are scams; at least I've read many things online from people who say they've been scammed. So are there any "trustworthy" ones?

So... your uncle died from a error on behalf of an American doctor. How does that have anything to do with the topic? Thanks for the warning, I'm fully aware of the dangers of drugs in general, and I never take anything before researching it extensively.
Seriously though, I don't want this thread to get derailed and turn into a "drugs are bad" argument.

Um, it wasn't an attempt to derail. My point was that it doesn't matter if the drugs were even approved by the U.S., you can still die from taking something that seems to be safe. I was making the point that drugs from somewhere overseas could be even more dangerous.
And please, I'm not saying drugs are bad. You grossly misunderstood my post. I take drugs, and I don't apologize for it. Your original post was asking "what the deal" was with these places. It was a vague question at best, and I was just saying that one should be very careful when considering buying something from these guys.
OK?

OK, I'll be careful.
This thread's existence is me being careful. I'm asking the community here if anyone has had a positive experience buying from an online pharmacy that doesn't require a prescription. However, thanks for the concern, I promise I won't do something stupid. Knowingly at least.

Also, I wasn't really talking directly to you specifically (even though I still don't want you to get hurt). I was just concerned about those who would read this and say to themselves "Oh wow, I can get prescription drugs on the internet?! I'm there dude!" -- (you know the kind of people I'm talkin about)
I wish they were guaranteed safe. I'd be all over that. I tell ya I've been tempted many times (damn spammers) to get some pain killers. But I suppose that ordering from overseas isn't too much more dangerous than buying some pain killers from your friendly local drug dealer on the street corner. You never really know where those come from either.

Ah, well those are indeed noble intentions. Personally I'm a believer of the idea that no matter how hard you try, you can't protect idiots from themselves, nor should you (unless they're too young to know better). It's a form of evolution in practice really. They'll manage to hurt themselves some other way, and they're usually not really good people anyways. It's better to educate them when they're young so that they don't turn into such morons. It would be kind of hard to have any sort of discussion if you were always trying to see if your words could cause some moron to hurt themselves; this entire thread would be filled with disclaimers!

I have bought my migraine RX online before. I was a lot cheaper. RiteAid (RipOff) wanted over $30 a pill, and an online pharmacy charged me $7.50 a pill.
Much cheaper.
To protect myself against fraud I used a Visa gift card and bought a small quantity first to determine that they were legit.
I checked a few out and if you already had a prescription then you simply paid the price for the drug and shipping which was reasonable. If you did not have a prescription then they would have you email one of their doctors and then charge you a "consultation fee" in addition to the regular price and shipping. I had a prescription, so I don't know how much the "consultation fees" were.
I used rxtank.com once. I used another company, but I can't remember the name right now.

Nice site, too bad they don't have what I need.
If you remember the name of the other one I'd be happy to hear it.

I would be very leery of them. Would not be sure of the quality.

Like I said, I am very leery of them. That's why I'm asking around.

Regarding the quality of the medicines, if I was prescribes Vibramycin then I would feel very comfortable taking Doxycycline (the generic). True, not the same thing. One is the brand name from Pfizer and the other is the same exact mediciation, just without the fancy title or packaging.
Check out the Israeli pharmacies. Excellent quality, excellent prices.
