I'd say the thread is pretty much done at this point. Anything else would be redundant. Good job guys!

Oh . . . and Happy Holidays!!!
Why do you leave out Chanukkah greetings in your sig?

Emphasis mine.

To be fair I read your post to mean "I don't usually put up a tree, but this year I did.".

I don't usually have a tree up, this is our first Christmas in our new house as a couple so we did put up one. I'll post a pic when I get home.

Some people add words to sentences when they read. I sometimes do it as well. It's a common mistake.

You read what you expect to be there, instead of what is there.

Actually, I was saying that your wording implied that it was in your house, that why I emboldened "usually" and "but". The combination of those words implied that this year was different from the usual.

But f*ck it, who gives a damn?

Not I.

I read it that way too. I'm pretty sure most people did. But yeah, that makes way more sense that it was an old lady's house, so I was pretty sure it wasn't Kevin's.

Not followed with "anyhow" That means "back to the pics" "But anyhow..."
But f*ck it, who gives a damn?

Ok..

I was just pointing out sometimes it's a common mistake to read what you THINK is supposed to be there, and what is actually there. That is what happened. No big deal. Everyone does it.

The way I worded it probably leads one to do that anyhow, so probably in the end it was my fault for not wording it correctly.

No need to get upset and use profanity.

Actually, I think a really humerous answer would be that it would extend your sig over 4 lines, thus breaking the rules.

I wasn't upset, rather I was trying to end the bickering by explaining how it didn't really matter. Sorry if my casual use of profanity offended you.

The end.

The pictures above are beautiful, thanks for sharing. The Christmas trees must bring you great joy.

No Xmas tree for me this year Hopefully, my brother will have a tree when we meet there.
I accidentally deleted the main Disneyland Xmas tree, but here's some decorated trees from there...and the main street snow after the cancelled fireworks (you can sort of see the huge xmas tree in the background)
