Excluding Italian and Chinese, since these have become pretty commonplace in most parts of the US and Canada.

Stupid board. I was trying to make this into a poll, but the database crapped out. Here were the choices I made available:

- Thai
- Tibetan
- Greek
- Vietnamese
- Turkish
- Mediterranean
- Mongolian BBQ
- French
- Cajun
- Mexican
- Indian
- None, I just eat ice cubes
- Other

It was in my original poll that the board swallowed. Added it to my list.

BOOOORRRINNG!

I hate bland food. It's gotta have some spice or some unusual kick for me.

Don't like fishy tasting stuff though.

Did all this food make you think of my shoe? I mean, my shoe does look really tasty. A couple times I wanted to take a bite of it...

Yes, I took her out to eat a lot. Made me think of how she got kind of chubby there at the end from all the good stuff on that list. I bet she stole the shoe out of anger that gyoza enlargened her thighs! Don't worry, I'll get it back though!

I love ice cubes.

However, in other news, I didn't see the option for "big freakin' steak done rare enough that my family's serious history of heart disease suddenly flies out the window." I'll pick that one.

Seriously though, I eat out wherever possible...French, Ukranian and Greek/Mediterranean are a little bit of heaven, right there...oh shwarma! Unfortunately, although I used to be a large fan of spicy foods, in the past few years I've been starting to find they don't always agree with the internal mechanisms...perhaps I'm just getting old.

Mmmmmm, food. Now I'm salivating.

You didn't include enough ethnicities. I find your post extremely offensive and biased. Moderators, I hope you will close this thread and warn the original poster about not being inclusive of all ethnicities.

Southern Indian. Afghani. Burmese. Greek/Lebanese/Mediteranean.

My all-time favorite restaurant is a Burmese place here in the DC area. I call it my "death
row" restaurant. If I am ever on Death Row I want my last meal to come from this place.
And no, I'm not telling you what/where the restaurant is.

Under Korean food:
- bulgogi
Pieces of pork/chicken/beef in some sort of sauce that you cook yourself on a little bbq.

- kimchi dumpling soup
Pretty spicy.

- shaboo shaboo
It's like Chinese da-bin-loo (or however you say it). It's a pot of boiling flavored water, to which you add uncooked very thin pieces of beef, fish balls, and vegetables. They cook quickly, and you pull them out to eat. At the very end, one adds noodles.. they soak up all the flavor, and makes the best tasting noodle soup in the world.

Irish cuisine would be meat and potatoes, every day, potatoes boiled till they start disintegrating and meat cooked so much you could re-sole your shoes with it.

Or Irish Stew. Which is the same but cooked in a big pot with a load of veg and some stock.

Irish beef is probably the best in the world though, and there is a farmer round here who has the greatest vennison you'll ever know.

And don't get me started on the quality of the potatoes.

Its a shame that traditional Irish cooking doesn't really make the most of the food we can produce.
