Not for me though, my roommate liked the sig that was made for me and was asking me how i acquired it. I informed her that i asked for it on these forums and she begged me to ask you guys for one.

She would like it to say Purplestars,

Dark Purple, stars and sparkles required, please. =) Thanks.

NO. She needs to use a starter sig for her first 46.34 years on MacNN. The only officall MacNN approved starter sig is this:

Looks a bit like Super Mario's sig, with the radiating lines. (Did effgee design that?)
I like it.

Who are you talking to?

If me, I make my own sigs. And I agree that my current one is not among my best.

Edit: At the time I posted this, it was the purple "nnn" one.

Sorry, didn't make it clear. I meant the op's sig, since I made it for him. I like your sigs because they're always changing.

I hope that she will find a sig. that she likes. Had the same situation, someone made mine also.

Here's another, it's not as good as mdc's, but I've got nothing else to do and playing in Photoshop is great fun.

Umm... I doubt i will ever see her on this forum. Not a computer freak like some of us. =) she spends her days on MySpace.

mdc, she loved that one, except the small letters, she stated that she liked the white text with black outline but that it was a little too small. Would you perhaps make the letters slightly larger?

Tesseract I thought yours was awesome, but she liked mdc's better cause it looked 3D. Go figure.

Thank you.

I can do 3d, but I'm not going to try. mdc's version rocks. She has good taste.

Edit: or not, since she's posting on MySpace and not the NN.

those are the only pixel fonts i have that look okay in that corner. any other sizes bigger than that and they start to overlap everything.
only other thing i'd have to do is to go with a completely different font style, and to be honest after work today and soccer tonight i am so tired. if she doesn't like any of these then tomorrow i'll play around some more.

On one of life's unnerving coincidences, i only recognized that for what it was because the song happened to be on iTunes as I was browsing the thread.

While I like it, the centered star is killing me. Personally, I'd prefer it offset to the right or left. Also, while cliché, it might work as a subtle substitution/overlay of the 'a' in star.

Still, best on in the thread.
