Anyone know if it will be webcasted live? What about satellite or playing in Apple Stores?

First reply...WooHoo...enough with this Christmas nonsense. Stevenote, bring it on!

From what I've read on hardmac.com it will be televised. Later we'll probably see a webcast.

Apple no longer does live webcasts for Stevenotes - I believe there may even have been comments to the effect that it's not cost effective. I'm not surprised.

Correct indeed. But on the other hand it is a good demonstration of Apple's QuickTime Technology. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the Apple webcasts are broadcast in a quality that is very rare, if not unique for events like this. But it is still not cost efficient for sure…

Well, if not WebCast, wonder if they'll at least have it shown live at the Apple Stores. I'm taking that day off from work, so a trip to the MoA just MIGHT be in order....

Meh, I'll be flying in to SF while the keynote is taking place.

So I'll know right when I land.

Don't try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.

Two weeks from now we should be hearing some exciting news.

All I know is that for some stupid reason, I'll probably buy whatever he announces. It's not like I need anything else, but a food and his money are soon parted.

I think being an high level Apple employee is exciting alone for the ability to see the speculations prior to big announcements. I am so envious.

OK, new question then: anyone know whether the usual outlets will be giving live text updates?

Somebody started an iChat for the last Steve Note or pretty close to the last one. That was fun, somebody was actually there as I recall. Hopefully some websites will have blow by blow, though Apple has been clamping down on that as of late right?
